With the development of machine in the direction of automation and high speed, connecting rod mechanism is making more notable impact on the development of robot day by day. As a result, more attention will be paid to the research of synthesis and design of connecting rod mechanism. Synthesis and design in the traditional methods, such as graphic method or experimentation, is difficult to meet design requirement, because its process is too complicated, its design cycle is lengthening, its inclination of value often self-contradict. With the rapid development of the computer technology and the numerical computational methods, analytic method has been applied in lots of areas. Because visualized development technology is developing and enriching constantly in the past few years especially, the research on programmed and visualized of the synthesis process and method for connecting rod mechanism becomes a significant and urgent problem.In this circumstance, this thesis aims at flat four-bar mechanism that widely used in connecting rod mechanism, making use of the numerical computational software-MATLAB,combining Visual C++, the program software, and Microsoft Excel, the electronic form, developed the software of flat four-bar mechanism synthesis. Main interface which is designed by Visual C++ realize the function of human-machine interaction, calling background MATLAB to complete the function for design and synthesis for flat four-bar mechanism. The main contents of this system:(1)High-level language visual C++ is used to establish main interface and frame through Object-Oriented Method. (2)Mathematical models about synthesis and analysis based on theory of flat four-bar mechanism will be constructed and solved. (3)By using powerful MATLAB numerical calculation and visualization of data ability, engineering compute program about the synthesis and analysis of flat four-bar mechanism will be compiled.(4)To realize data communication in different Memory space, interconnect technology between MATLAB and Visual C++ will be researched.The main function of this software:(1)This thesis discusses synthesized issues of rigid object leading mechanism, function creating mechanism and track building mechanism.(2)Simulation and two-dimension visualization of flat four-bar mechanism can be realized, and analysis data can be visualized after the flat four-bar mechanism has been designed. (3)It is convenience to complete the parameter design due to an interactive interface and simple operation.
