Metal packaging as a packing method now has been used widely. Metal material performs well on sealing, and is especially suitable for moistureproof munitions which needs a long-term storage. At present, our country's BFJ2-4 Ammunition Fuse Packaging Sealing Machine encapsulate packaging seal packaging machine adopts round metal cans for encapsulating. Due to the particularity of ammunition fuze products, it has been asked a high quality during packing sealing, such as the requirements of packaging materials, machinery equipment, production environment, especially the quality of mechanical equipment has a vital influence for packaging process.It occurs occasional the phenomenon of metal can would be seized up by BFJ2-4 automatic ammunition fuse packaging sealing. This phenomenon is very dangerous for ammunition fuse. Double-seam is the most important link in canning manufacture technical process, this article analyzes the main reason causing metal cans seize up:as unqualified Double-seam process cause metal cans deformations. Therefore, research achievement of this article has a very important significance to security analysis of ammunition fuse packaging sealing machine and as well as the similar products in the package sealing.The article general introductions to the elastic-plastic mechanics theory and double process and principle, uses the formidable explicit analysis module in the FEA software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, using Pro/E the software modeling, simulating the process of double-seam. Analysis the rule of stress and strain in edge process each work step of double edge, and simulated the double-seam process of the four kind of commonly used curves, then obtained the stress analysis chart of each curves. Eliminate or degrade stress concentration during edge process by the seam roller, thus obtains the most ideal first seam roller trench curve. Found the most superior curve, and optimized it inorder to eliminate or weaken the several stresses centralisms phenomenon in the work process, thus obtains the most ideal first seam roller trench curve. In addition, the article designed a flexible automatic monitoring equipment for BFJ2-4 Ammunition Fuse Packaging Sealing Machine to ensure auto stop, cut down the power and alarm when metal cans stuck during edge process, eliminate hidden troubles in the process of curnng.
