Researcher On The Urban Planning Method In The Period Of Rural Urbanization

The urbanization of the rural areas in China is centered on small towns which will cause the changes in population and economic structure of the neighboring countryside. This is the most important part of China's urbanization. Rural urbanization is the urbanization with Chinese characteristics and fits into the framework of our national situations. Based on this background, the paper combines the theory with the practical case. Starting with the widespread problems existing in the current process of transformation from villages to small towns and directed by the ecological view, the paper finally puts forward a methological system on how to design a eco-residential small town in terms of reasonable land-use structure, protection of eco-environment, efficient use of energy and resources and features of humanistic environment.The thesis is divided into four parts based on the basic idea of proposing a problem, analyzing a problem and solving a problem.Chapter one is an introduction, which includes the background of the study, the definition of the core concepts, the significance and method of the study.Chapter two presents a detailed literature review releated to the present study, involving the basic theories of urbanization home and abroad as well as ecology-related theories.Chapter three presents an ecological designing of the small towns in terms of the social, economic and nature systems. Social system is centered on people and a dynamic living environment. Economic system aims at high efficiency and a circulate economic system. Nature system emphasizes the importance of protection with the strategies and method on the management of spatial resources.In the end, a methodological summary of the theoretic and practical study is provided, and points out the differences between the ecological way of city planning and the tradional way of city planning.Chapte four is a case study of Ma Tou Village of Ren He County in the city of Rong Cheng, ShanDong province. Starting with the typical problems in its transformation period and directed by the ecological view, the paper puts forward the general developing model, which includes the orientation of its developing diretion, size of the town, the structure and function of land and space, as well as the strategies and suggestions on the transformation of economic and social structure. Finally, a city designing project is prsented taking the four aspects of spatial pattern into consideration, that is, traffic system, ecological landscape, public space and healthy living.
