In recent years, with the development of our county's total building amount and people's increasing requirement of comfort, building energy consumption has been increased rapidly and accounted for more than 30%in total energy consumption. It's an inevitable choice to develop energy-saving building in order to achieve sustainable development and build a resource-saving, environment-friendly society.Residential accounts for about 92%of the residential building, which accounts for more than 60%of total building floor area, therefore extending energy-saving residential is the key field of energy saving. But people lack the correct concept to recognize energy-saving residential building in the view of life-cycle cost, and they can't judge its economic benefit of energy-saving residential building, those all hinder the development of energy-saving residential building. It is essential to carry out the study of energy-saving residential building's economic benefit.Based on the theory of life-cycle cost analysis, this thesis takes energy-saving residential building in the cold zone as a research subject and sets up the economic benefit evaluation model with taking a certain energy-saving residential building in Jinan as an example. Now, the principal research activities are as follows.Firstly, in order to analyze the economic benefit of energy-saving residential building more scientific, the life-cycle cost analysis theory has been introduced. Combined with the life-cycle stages of energy-saving residential building, this article analyzes the composition and estimation methods of energy-saving residential building's life-cycle cost with establishing a life-cycle cost estimation model.Secondly, energy-saving technology, energy-saving design standards and energy consumption in the process of using are different because various regions have different climate conditions. This article analyzes the calculation method of energy-saving investment, energy consumption cost in the process of using and energy-saving benefit for energy-saving residential building in the cold zone. Furthermore, increment net present value and investment recovery period are used as the economic evaluation index. In the end, this article establishes the economic benefit estimation model of energy-saving residential building in the cold zone.Finally, this thesis uses an example for quantitative analysis. A certain energy-saving residential building in Jinan is taking as an example though contrasting with non energy-saving residential building. The conclusion is that energy-saving residential building has more economic superiority though conducting an economic benefit analysis and comparing the life-cycle cost. This thesis also finds out sensitive factors by conducting sensitivity analysis on uncertainty factors affecting the economy benefit evaluation. Only to control sensitive factors, can we guarantee energy-saving residential is economically feasible.
