Today global economic development slows down due to many reasons, China still remains an average development pace 6.6%, but under the aura of rapid development is the problem of excessive energy consumption in our country. With the introduction of green building, many people begin to study the concept and suitable technology of green building, however in terms of economic efficiency of green buildings, there are few reports. In this paper, from the perspective of ecological economics, on the basis of whole life cycle theory, ecological economic benefit evaluation and of feasibility of green building was analyzed with cost benefit evaluation method.In this paper, research progress of green building at home and abroad was first introduced, on the basis of which, the characteristics of green building and the problems existing in the development of our country were summarized. And according to the requirements of evaluation standard of the green building, on the basis of whole life cycle cost theory, incremental costs and incremental benefit of the green building were calculated, and then a detailed calculation method for the economic and ecological benefits were concluded. Finally, ecological economy of green building was measured through ecological comprehensive economic efficiency index and the price of carbon emissions trading.By analyzing 10 public buildings and 10 residential buildings respective-ly in shaanxi province, It was found that relative to residential buildings, incremental cost of public buildings is higher, and it increases with higher star level, with 10.44RMB/m~2 ofone star to 393.68 RMB/m~2 of three star, which was less compared to earlier research,and what is more important, carbon dioxide emission per unit ranges from 10.51 kg/m~2 to 44.12 kg/m~2,it is high than 5.34 kg/m~2 to 41.11 kg/m~2 of residential buldings.With a three-star green building in xi ’an region as case analysis, incremental costs and incremental benefit were analyzed, on the basis of which cost-benefit was analyzed further. According to the results, green building produces greater economic benefits and at the same time also produces greater ecological benefit. And in the whole life cycle,ecologic-al economic benefit of the project is good, with a larger demonstration, and it means that green building technology is more suitable, net present value was bigger than 0, the benefit cost ratio was also bigger than 1. And according to cost benefit ratio of green building technology strategy, 21 strategy combination was drawn, and correlation of carbon emissions and incremental cost was analyzed, It was found that R2 was to be 0.849 with fitting equation and marginal incremental cost decrease after rising first, so it was thought to be that the best carbon emissions reductions can be concluded with the minimum of marginal incremental cost.
