Power cable is an important element for transmitting and distributing of electricity energy. And, it has been widely used in electrical industry. With the development of economy, power cable is becoming more and more significant in transmission and distribution of power system. Typically, the method of cable installation includes directly burying installation, tunnel installation and tube well installation. Especially, the method of cable installation in urban distribution system is mainly well installation.Owing to the high-speed construction of China, the more diversity of city function and the increasing of power consumption, the original pre-cast cable protection pipe cann't meet the requirement of present power cable. Due to the complication of engineering construction in urban area, open cut construction cable protection pipe is not suitable for many situations. As a result, it is required to use trenchless and horizontal directional installation for cable protection pipe installation.This thesis, focusing on the research of trenchless installation technology for cable protection pipe mainly in the aspects of theory, construction process, relevant orientation control and power system, through contrasting and analyzing different types of popular protection pipes, also, combined with engineering instance, resolves the difficulty of trenching road surface and completes the pipe installation without impact facilities on the road, which helps to reduce the negative influences and damages to traffic, environment and buildings in surroundings.By the research, this thesis solved at least 3 problems in conventional construction.(1)The seal of cable protection pipe;(2)During the traction of cable protection pipe, cable protection pipe was crossed and crushed which causing problems in the latter installation;(3)Decreasing the friction during the traction process and improve the construction efficiency.Compared with original construction method, the new method can reduce removal compensate in prior period of engineering and reimbursement for virescence. Moreover, this technology can also make social beneficent and economic beneficent.
