Application Study Of DSM In Safety And Stability Analysis Of Receiving Power Network

Demand Side Management (DSM) is not only an effective method of allocating power resources and improving terminal power consumption, but also an effective measure of maintaining safety and stability of power network. Based on the analysis of load characteristics in receiving power network, this paper has definite the relation between power load and safety and stability of power network. By introducing the concept of demand side response (DSR), this paper has studied the application direction, application process and operating means of DSM in safety and stability of receiving power network, analysed its application environment, application characteristics and applicability. According to the process of electric power company and customer participate in DSR programs, construeted a DSR model that based on the principles of benefit maximization. And take the load of Beijing area for example, analyzed the fluctuation between price/incentive measures and demand after the implementation of DSR based on price and incentive, then definite the effect and influence in safety and stability of receiving power network.
