Water transportation with advantages of less pollution, low cost, large traffic volume has played an important role in economic and social development. In recent years, a nationwide bridge construction of inland navigable waters rushing (jumping quickly), has improve- d the road traffic conditions. But at the same time it brings great obstacles to the ships sailing below the bridges and there exists danger of collision pier or span structures of the bridge, impacting the development of waterway transport.Although relevant departments have announced some industry standards and national standards to constrain the construction of hydraulic structures across a river bridge, some standards already can't adapt to the need of reality with the development of times, what's more, these standards that involve in bridge waters navigation are decentralized and failed to form a complete system. Based on the above, this paper does a research on the safety assessment methods of inland water bridge navigation environment.First, this paper analyzes the domestic and foreign relevant research results, chose research methods; then, analyses the factor index influencing the safety of inland water bridge navigation and establishes risk evaluation index system of inland bridge water navigation environment and risk evaluation grades. According to evaluation standards'different significance to the safe navigation, combining experts' opinion, has established bridge waters navigable environment risk evaluation criteria, designed fuzzy membership functions, applied fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to establish the comprehensive evaluation model of bridge waters navigable environmental risk degree. Using this model can achieve the comprehensive analysis and risk assessment of bridge waters. Therefore you can master the safety conditions of navigation environment around bridge areas. For one thing, it is possible to evaluate the safety conditions of navigation environment around bridge areas; for another thing, it can provide valuable reference of the site selection of new bridge and navigable demonstration. This paper take the LeLong bridge waters navigable safe evaluation as an example to verify the assessment model, and the result conforms to the fact. The research results will be a basis for inland bridge waters navigable safety assessment to a complete system and industry unified standard.
