Water hydraulic is a new technology of using the sea or fresh water directly as a pressure medium in hydraulic system. Compared with the traditional oil hydraulic technology, the advantages of the water hydraulic are environmental compatibility, extensive source, low management and maintenance costs, fire resistance and cleaning, which adapts to the human sustainable development and environmental protection. Due to the low-pressure water hydraulic technology as the effective solutions to water hydraulic components cost, it is becoming a research focus of researchers in developed country, and it is a cutting-edge subject of fluid drive and control field.The throttle valve is the important component of fluid drive and control system, it is a kind of flow control valve. It can be used as regulating system flow, loading the pump and adjusting the resistance of pump suction in the system. It throughs adjusting the size of variable orifice to change fluid resistance, so as to realize the control of flow.Based on the existing water hydraulic throttle valve, we design a novel low-pressure water hydraulic throttle valve with piezoelectric actuator in this paper. It uses the piezoelectric stack actuator to control the throttle valve's opening. The piezoelectric stack actuator has the advantages of fast response, high frequency, high precision, low power consumption, etc. The major work of this paper is as follow:1. Introduce the basic theory of the piezoelectric driven. Study on the properties of the piezoelectric stack actuator, and design the testing experiment system of the piezoelectric stack actuator to analysis its properties.2. Study on the temperature properties and the hysteresis characteristics of the piezoelectric stack actuator. Put forward the corresponding improvement measures, and design temperature compensation institutions and the pre-stressed adjusting mechanism of the piezoelectric stack actuator. Determine the ideal range of the preloaded force by using AMESim simulation analysis and experimental research.3. Due to the key technical issues of the corrosion, sealing and cavitation erosion, etc. when study on the low-pressure water hydraulic throttle valve with piezoelectric actuator. Those can be solved by the choice of the form of the valve structure, material properties analysis and choose, the choice of the form of sealing and processing technique.4. Design the performance test system of the low-pressure water hydraulic throttle valve with piezoelectric actuator. Debugging and experimental analysis with the valve, and summarized the reasons of influence of experimental results.
