Ship power station.is an important component to the whole ship power system. That ship runs reliably and economically holds a significant meaning for ensuring ship operates safely. The development and application of computer and network technology on modern ship industry propel the automation and intellectualization of management and operation of ship power station. Based on the sufficient research and analysis on current domestic and overseas ship auto-control equipment, I finished the design for frequency and load automatic control of ship power station by using the programmable controller, advanced industrial controlling technology and computer technology.This paper adopts the automatic control of ship power station as research subject, in accordance with the operation principle and relative regulations of synchronous generator, analyzes the conditions for realizing automatic start, switch-on and power supply, parallel operation, separation and shutting down, etc, and compile the relative logic flow chart of the control system. The frequency and power regulator is designed based on the SIEMENS S7-300 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as control center, By use of configurable software ADP 6.0, the system designs monitoring-interface, achieves data collection and realizes the monitoring and control of ship power station, and realizes the function of ship power station as following:automatic start, parallel operation, frequency and power modulate, separation and shutting down, etc. In addition, In order to eliminate the phenomenon of interactive power oscillation which affects the opration of the frequency and load regulated.In this paper this phenomenon is analysed, researched and simulated, when the marine generators are parallel-running.
