Ship power station is one of the most important equipments on ship.With the development of modern automation technology, automatic control of the ship power station has come true. This is a necessary condition to realize the automation and modern cabin. As a special part of the ship station, emergency power plants ensure the continuous supply of power on the ship.It is very important for the safety of the ship.This is based on laboratory projects, combined with "Marine Engineering Handbook" and the requirements of "CCS steel ship construction and classification rules" detailly elaborates the design process of ship emergency power plants for training. This Include emergency power supply design, power distribution equipment design and emergency power management unit design. It also analyzes the algorithm which is "tree types of load" for ship's main power in the process of the emergency power design and designs the power distribution from the component selection, functional design and a primary power system design. Then it designs the emergency power management unit by SIMENS S7-200PLC as the control centrol. As a result it implements the automation of the ship's emergency power plant for training.In the design process of the management unit of ship's emergency plant for training, it highlights the composition of S7-200PLC and the process of control for the ship's emergency power plant for training. And finally it designs the control program for the ship's emergency power plant for training by STEP7-Micro/WIN V4.0 and carefully analyzes the control program.
