The Study Of Architectural Form On The Basis Of Visual Perception

Architecture is the product at the certain age of social development and it experienced a long history. The functions of architecture have been changing and developing constantly in the lives of human-beings. While playing the material role of living, it also becomes the place which bears the Weight of human historical culture and spiritual and emotional commodatum. The artchitectual form is the carrier to show the content of architecture. And the architecture deomnstrates its unique styles and features by means of its appealling forms at its respective ages, through which the architecture reflects various kinds of cultural information, artistic connontation and emotional features. However, with the development of standardization and commercialization of city and architecture, the problems of assimilation, mechanization, deprivation of traditional culture and desilanation of feeling reflected through the architectural form has been obvious. These problems leads to human-beings'sense of emotional return. Therefore, how to create the architecture form with humanity and emotionalism has become the important issue encountered by modern architect.Based on the theory of visual perception, the thesis studies the relationship between architectural form and mechanism of stereoscopic vision and visuopsychic effect, and explores deeply the intrinsic nature and spiritual connotation of architectual form. It analyses such aspects of architectural form as the visual elements, the cultural connotation of visual language and aesthetic feeling, and sums up the principle of visual design for architectural form. And on the basis of the study and analysis, it puts forward the fowllowing target-oriented design philosophy:the demostration of emotionalism of architectural form, the inheritance of regional culture of architectural form and the revelation of technologial innovation of architectural form. With the employment of this design philosophy --- the mix of technology and the respect of regional and nationa cultural differences ---the author hopes that the architecture fulfills the purpose of taking care of human pyscholoy and emotion and makes communication and emotional exchange between people and buildings possible.
