Reflection And Reconstruction Of Contemporary Chinese Sculptural Architectural Forms Under The Dynamic Theory Of Visual Perception

In the category of architectural art,there are various formal languages,and sculpturality is one of them.In recent years,sculpture,as a formal language,has formed a situation of intermingling with architecture,and sculptural architecture has emerged as the times require.This phenomenon adds vitality to the art of architecture,and at the same time,such buildings have become a highly iconic city image,and also reflect the development of science and technology in a new era of a country,which is one of the reasons for its market appeal.However,from the end of the 1970 s to today,that is,from modernism to postmodernism,architectural theories have been rapidly changing and developing.Before our country has yet really clarified the meaning of modern architecture,postmodern theory has already carried out the research on modernist architecture.The denial has gradually made the architectural art of our country have certain ideological limitations,resulting in many domestic architectural creations pursuing peculiar shapes and exaggerated techniques,and gradually deviating from the aesthetic principles,and the first and foremost is the sculptural architecture.Through the information of online media,we can find that in recent years,a large number of buildings that have been reviewed by experts have been reported,not as beautiful,but as ugly.In a large number of online articles,there are titles titled "Top Ten Ugliest Buildings",and there are also "Top Ten Ugliest Buildings"."The 20 Strangest Buildings" and so on,and most of these buildings have a sculptural expression in some sense.These sculptural architectural designs and performances cannot give people a good aesthetic experience,and even brutally test people’s visual and psychological endurance,nor can they beautify the city.On the contrary,they are suspected of destroying the harmony of the urban environment.For the formal problems faced by sculptural architecture,an interdisciplinary theory can be introduced to explain and guide it.The dynamic theory of visual perception is a more suitable entry point.From this theoretical point of view,we can reflect and discuss the formal problems faced by sculptural architecture.The visual perception dynamic originates from Gestalt psychology and is often used to explain aesthetics and artistic creation.This theory discusses aesthetic cognition from the perspective of people’s acquisition of visual perception.Therefore,this thesis will take the visual perception dynamic aesthetics theory as an interdisciplinary theoretical basis,discuss the fundamental connection and fit between sculptural architecture and visual perception dynamics in the design expression level,and reflect on the appearance problems existing in contemporary domestic sculptural architectural design.Judge whether its architectural form conforms to aesthetic standards,discuss how to achieve a balance of power in sculptural architectural forms,and summarize the principles and methods that should be followed in sculptural architectural design from the perspective of aesthetics.
