Research On The Contradiction Harmonization Of Architectural Form Based On Visual Perception

Dialectical materialism believes that the development of things depend on the contradiction. Contradiction not only has the meaning of the philosophy, but also has the meaning of esthetics. Choosing morphological architecture and visual perception to be the theories foundation, this text analyses contradiction and its harmonization of architectural form, and tries to construct the principle and method of contradiction harmonization of contemporary architectural form.The first chapter introduces research background, purpose, meaning and method mainly, and then introduces the relevant research, among them making exhaustive analysis and appraise to Robert Venturi. Chapter two introduces the concept, composition; influence factor of architectural form, then introduces the concept of visual perception and vision requiring and psychological effect of the architectural form. Chapter three analyses the contradiction and pluralism of the most simple element and analyses "contradiction" talked by Robert Venturi, then points out the concept of contradiction and its harmonization of architectural form, and analyses the process and content of harmonization in architectural form contradiction finally. Chapter four analyses the history of contradiction harmonization in Chinese and foreign classical architectural form, then reviews the aesthetic principle and deficiency of the modern architectural form, finally analyses the state of contradiction harmonization in it. Chapter five analyses the origin, essence and characteristics of contemporary pluralistic architectural form, and point out its expression and contradiction harmonization. Chapter six combining the instance analysis, tries to construct the principle and method of contradiction harmonization of contemporary architectural form, and introduces one of my own works that based on it.
