Study On The Vehicle-Mounted Wireless Video Monitoring System

With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, the service flow is increasing in the wireless network, and the vehicle-mounted wireless video monitoring has become a reality, and has attracted wide attention. The vehicle-mounted wireless video monitoring system studied in this paper can realize real-time video data acquisition,coding,sending. When the traffic accidents happened, or other incidents or cable network faults occurred on the highway, the vehicle-mounted system can provide live video data for emergency command, offer the technical means for remote dispatch and control.First, this paper introduces the characteristics and related technologies of the vehicle-mounted wireless video monitoring system, especially emphasize the importance to ensure QoS in the vehicle-mounted wireless video transmission. Through in-depth research and analysis to factors of QoS in the vehicle-mounted wireless video transmission system, according to the existing achievements and defects of QoS, this paper present the cushioning mechanism in client and subpackage mechanism in serve to promote QoS.Based on the above research, this paper developed the vehicle-mounted wireless video monitoring system, which can realize the collection of real-time video information on the highway, local WLAN self-organizing, coding,3G sending and remote looking. The paper developed and realized the sending system in server and the receiving system in client, and tested it in the related experimental environment and engineering environment. The results showed that the user terminals based on this design can successfully look remote video images in wireless, and the image quality have been significantly improved.As an important research direction in the intelligent transportation system, the vehicle-mounted monitoring system is of great significance for monitoring and management on highway.The monitoring mode and technique method and information service means formed in this paper also has reference value for the construction of monitoring system in other departments.
