"Safety, environmental protection, economic fuel"are the greatest subjects of automotive industry development at the present age. Now the automotive safety have been the one of the most considerable items in china automotive consume, and as the basic part of automotive safety research, passive safety research is taken restraint structure as the most important subject of itself. since the finite element analyses(FEA) is unlimited repeatable and accurate enough, it's used in restraint structure design as a significant tool.In this thesis,according to the technical corporation requirement of seat dynamic integrity, an 56km/h crash dynamic FEA was done on a light bus rear seat with LS-dyna, finally we get the crash reflection such as stress, displacement, and discussed the structure integrity of some key components, with a"PASS"assessment, the design intent have been verified in system and vehicle level hyge test, and also vehicle level FEA. After a comparison between CAE and real test, it's proved that the CAE model is effective and accurate.Below is a brief introduction of the main contend of chapters:In the first chapter, automotive safety research have been summarized, as well as the resent china automotive market status and the development of automotive safety research. at last, the main strategy and questions have been discussed.In the second chapter, it's briefly introduced about the history of FEA, and then research method and the basic theory.In the third chapter, besides the seat development, the method of FEA model establishment and simplification have been introduced.In the fourth chapter, the FEA model have been solved and it's confirmed the design intent finally meet the design target.In the fifth chapter, the advanced method of physical test have been introduced with a system level test, and then compared between the FEA result and physical test result.In the sixth chapter, the vehicle level FEA and physical test have been briefly introduced.With this research , it's confirmed FEA is effective in seat safety analysis,but it's based on the correct model simplification and a lot of physical test data collection, and it's prove the point at thesis beginning matter how advanced the FEA developed, it can't independently grow up without physical test research, they are always suppling each other.
