Title:Optimum design of the bucket-wheel stacker-reclaimerCircular stacker-reclaimer, as a continuously and high efficiency bulk material handling machines, is widely used in the foundation industry, like electric field, industry of port, steelworks, chemical plant, cement field. This equipment can realization the coal, iron ore and calcareousness stack and bulk continuously, used in foundational build more diffusely.Circular stacker-reclaimer of YDQ800/1500.110 is a kind of large-scale bulk material handling machines in environmental protection. In the Factory of generate electricity equipment. The circumgyrate radius of the machine is 34 meters. Rating of stacker is 800t/h and rating of reclaimer is 1500t/h. When the angle between stacker-arm and reclaimer-arm is 180 degrees, the span of the equipment is 110 meters. To improve the quality of the design, base on the primary project, set up the finite element model. To insure the design of the equipment could satisfy the request of strength and stiffness.In this paper we will use the large-scaled software ALGOR to analysis Circular stacker-reclaimer of YDQ800/1500.110 use the finite element analysis (FEA). ALGOR is famous as engineering emulation software. It was used in various calling, like design, FEA, mechanical movement emulation. Include statics, dynamics, hydrodynamics, heat exchange, electrostatic, fatigue analysis, tube craftwork design etc. ALGOR can aided the designers to predict the state of affairs in real state. So that they can more quickly and cheaply complete the design item in safety.The analysis function of ALGOR is very powerful, it not only can be used in normal analysis, like linear stress analysis, non-linear stress analysis, linear and non-linear dynamic analysis, instantaneous-steady heat exchange analysis,2D and 3D instantaneous-steady hydrodynamics flow analysis, electrostatic analysis, non-linear mechanical analysis etc, but also can used in coupling analysis. This software provides a friendly interface for the second exploitation. The user can make a choice according to the character of the product, to set up a module inside the ALGOR software. Achieve the sameness between the modules.During the whole analysis of the equipment, considered the character of the ALGOR, we make the whole equipment divided into different part to set up the models. We assembled these models respectively, including the stacker structure (stacker arm, bracket, turntable), the reclaimer structure (reclaimer arm) and the support structure (center pillar, gantry, reclaimer-turntable).After that we assembled all the structures. We take full advantage of the software ALGOR, use the Eagle and Scripts language write program. Get across the parameter to implement the structures be assembled automatically in different working states. Combine DOS batch program to implement more working states batch calculate automatically. So we can improve the compute efficiency, and reduce the odds of mistake.Through the analysis of Circular stacker-reclaimer of YDQ800/1500.110 in its earlier design plan of FEA, we found that some small parts can not satisfy the strength require. We made some modification to achieve a more ideality purpose. The personnel agree what we do. Beside the whole equipment general calculate, apply of batch program and the pick-up of result automatically provide a reference for the future.
