Construction simulation of large and complex structure has become one of the key technology of structural design and construction scheme designing. Conventional structure design exert load one-time according to ultimate displacement of structure, without considering situation of construction loads, stress development, displacement deformation in construction process, which may affect final forming condition and even the safety of the structure. With the development of national economy, more and more overhung and big span structure arises at the historic moment, therefore, doing analysis and research on it has become more and more necessary. It not only can test feasibility and security of construction scheme prior, but also provide control parameters, which can guide the safety and realize designing configuration of structure.This paper analyzed and discussed level construction truss which set for construction of structure of Anjali Sheli Pagoda of Dharma Gate Temple by finite element. Based on analyzing structure characteristics, construction difficulties, scheme and sequence, adopting "life and death" unit simulation method which based on nonlinear finite element and multi-stage, did simulated analysis on entire construction process of Anjali Sheli Pagoda, and compared measured data which are set in key position in construction process and simulation data by finite element analyzing, then get a good agreement with them, which shows the method adopted is correct and feasible. Calculated and discussed deformation displacement at different stage, preset the deformation, which ensure the safety of structure. This paper draw that simulating mechanical behavior of large and complex structures with numerical method is feasible, and principles and methods of monitoring construction is practical by doing analysis and research. It provides an important reference and theoretical significance in future for simulating construction of large and complex structure using finite element method, and to ensure the construction is safety and realize design configuration of structure.
