Storage Tank Isolation Based On Shape Memory Alloy

Vertical float storage tanks is Important industrial facility of petroleum, petrificstion and related businesses which storaged of flammable, explosive, toxic media. , once produced damaged in the earthquake, the severity of consequence is very serious. Super-elasticity and shape memory effect is the most important mechanical property of shape memory alloy. In this thesis,hysteretic energy of shape memory alloy and shape memory effect combined with rubber support, design Isolation layer of storage tanks,and by the finite element method to study the isolated effects.This paper studies on the isolation tank current status and adhibition of shape memory alloys in structural vibration control and makes a summary. Possibility of Shape memory alloys use in the isolation tank control application are discussed. expound constitutive model of the current domestic and international shape memory alloy, and introduced the main characteristics of shape memory alloys. Then, design composite bearing by shape memory alloy and rubber support, refer to response of Isolation tanks, and analyse the difference result of shape memory alloy in difference direction.Firstly, select the one-dimensional seismic wave, assign shape memory alloy in three different direction. simulated and analysed finite element isolation. After selecting the best combination and analyse Isolation effect in the 2d seismic waves.From this , it come to a conclusion that complex rubber bearings compared with ordinary rubber bearing have a better effect and have better protection in the earthquake. discussed resetting mentality of shape memory alloy.Finally, the content of this study are summarized and prospects are closely related with this research and the need for further research.
