Centralized heating system is a way of heating methods for saving energy and creating favorable environment. Relying on its advantages, centralized heating system is playing an increasingly important role and becomes the significant infrastructure in the modern metropolis. As an important part of centralized heating system, heat-supply network has an crucial guarantee for the safety of heating. With the larger scale and the longer running time, the failure rate of heat-supply net also increases gradually. We can calculate the economic loss for a poor reliability of heat-supply system, but the social impact and the loss is incalculable, so the research of the fault condition and reliability become urgent problem to be solved for heat-supply network.The evaluation of hermal network reliability is based on the research of the indoor temperature variation after a fault occurs.According to the temperature drop model in discontinuous(limit) heating room based on the DeST, a software of indoor thermal environment, we calculate the cooling time of several typical residential buildings and summarized the smaller values of cooling time in different outdoor temperature with the three heating area exterior surface of residential building as the object.This article deduced the direct relation between the limited heat coefficient and the limited flow coefficient of two application mode in a straight spare heating system limitation heating. This article also demonstrated the ideology of adjustment of reliability design of network from two angle of the limited flow coefficient and the limited heat coefficient. The coefficient of limited quantity of flow regarded Principle of calculation index to the space heating heat-supply systems is put forward. Meanwhile, it put forward the calculation methods of the rated limited heating coefficient and the rated limited flow coefficient. The calculation on operation status of the system and the main calculating results are given.
