Research Of Rural Life And Rural Living Patterns In Jilin Province

With the rapid development of social economy, the living conditions of farmers have widely been paid attention to. In recent years, more and more experts, scholars and designers participate in vernacular architecture with the proposed new countryside construction which Jilin province is one of the most important of it. Because some designers do not understand rural life, although individual projects have reference value, the overall design of new rural residential level is not high, demonstration effect is not significant in the completed modern architecture.Traditional vernacular architecture which taking full advantage of all favorable factors of nature is constrained by the level of construction technology, reflecting the harmony of man with the environment and possesses diversity of the local building form, spatial composition and detailed structure. Rural life has important influence on the vernacular architecture development while the improvement of living standard and the impact of foreign culture also have greatly promoting effect.This paper based on the rural living patterns of Jilin Province, making a serious analysis and digging into the depth from the perspective of how rural life produce influence on the rural living patterns and summarizing living patterns which adapts to rural life. Combined with local folk customs, social production and living culture, this paper also reforms and improves rural living patterns to obtain design theory which is fit to promotion and make it suit modern life.For the research, this paper firstly describes the relationship between rural life and rural living patterns, introduces the cultural characteristics of rural life in Jilin Province, analyzes history and status quo of nature rural settlement from the perspective of sociology, geography, communication science and ecology. In this paper, we also make a comparison between eastern mountains and western plains.Traditional rural living patterns contains many of original ecology wisdoms, but it has time and space limitation, so it can not meet the needs of modern life, and the result is it should be changed. At the end of the article we make an analysis on the view of adaptation between rural living patterns and rural life in Jinlin province. Some aspects in this paper are described: the evolution and development of rural residential model, three levels of rural living patterns, design intention of rural living patterns, the protection of rural living patterns and the inheritance of rural life.
