VOIP Technology Application For Guangdong Power Dispatching Exchange Network

For Guangdong Branch of China Southern Grid, it is up-to-date to apply VOLP to its Power Dispatching Exchange Network,which is such a combination of high efficiency, service variety and low cost that not only guarantees a superior transmission bandwidth and a better quality of communication service for the power grid,but also guarantee a cost reduction of the network construction and the maintenance by the oneness network system. In terms of the security, comparing with the existing Phone System, VOLP can enable the Power Dispatching Exchange Network to have backup ip routes, to be transfered and to make backups of Dispatch Control Center, which can enhance the security and the coverage.The program has built a platform for tests. Stressing tests lie in the reliability and security of the VOLP gateway, the supporting capacity of switches of different manufacturers or types and the compatibility of different signals, mainly QSIG, PRI. On the existing Dispatching Exchange Network , the program has chosen Communication Center ,Branch of Guangzhou,Jiangmen,Qingyuan,Dongguan,Shanwei etc as exchange branch to realize the Trunk Line of the VOLP network and the IP customer extension and test the its various functions and effect, the result of which meet the qualification.
