The Study On Coping Strategies Of Stage Ⅲ Emission And Fuel Consumption Regulation For Three-wheeled Motorcycle

In response to the forthcoming implementation of the third stage national standards for emissions and fuel consumption of three-wheeled motorcycle,the traditional carbureting fuel system is hard to survive due to its poor combustion controllability, this research focused on the application of FAI electrically controlled fuel injection system on three-wheeled motorcycle. In view of three-wheeled motorcycle's main applications and the characteristic, the major effect factores of emissions and the fuel consumption has been analyzed, First, strengthening the structure of the engine, improving components of the EFI system, and consummating the MAP chart,then a large number of experimental studies on the three-wheeled motorcycle. Carry on such experiments about adopt an appropriate measure to make vehicle lightweight, optimized ratio of gear, selecting suitable location of the three-way catalytic converter, EGR and so on. then design vehicles again through the achievement of experimental study, in order to achieves the national new standard and request. For vehicles which the engine displacement is the 150ml, if the quality will reduce 100kg, the emission of NOx will reduce 55%, the fuel consumption of the experiment ofâ… (fuel consumption of operating mode) will reduce 14%; The primary ratio of gear reduces from 4 to 3.33, the comprehensive fuel consumption reduces to 4.21L/100km from 5.50L/100km; Arranges the three-way catalytic converter 's position reasonably, the NOx emissions can reduce to 0.1g/km from 0.17g/km, the range of fall reaches more than 41%; Chooses the appropriate throttle valve aperture of EGR, the NOx emissions can also reduce to 0.15g/km from 1.08g/km.Finally, the results of the experiments have been successfully applied in the three wheeled motorcycle of SF125ZH and SF200ZH, and reach the requirements of the state's laws and regulations.
