The cantilever casting construction technology, which is used in the construction of Yanghe Bridge in Liuzhou, is studied in this paper.(1) The method and characteristics of cantilever casting construction are introduced as well as the commonly used types of the hanging baskets.(2) The construction order of Yanghe Bridge is determined as follows: construction of the 0# segment of the beam; bearing capacity test of the hanging basket; construction of the cantilever; remove of the hanging basket; construction of the closure segment. The construction plans of the connection of the bracket and girder, the hanging basket, the cantilever cast and the closure segment are determined, and the cautions in the constructions are also mentioned.(3) Elastic internal forces and deformations of the rhombic hanging basket are calculated, and the stabilities of the hanging basket when moving and casting are checked to keep safe in the construction.(4) The construction method of the closure segment is determined based on the characteristics of Yanghe Bridge.(5) The main principles of construction controls of Yanghe Bridge are presented.It is worth to be referenced of the achievement in this dissertation for bridges alike.
