Research On The Protection And Fault Information System Of Inner Mongolia Grid

On the base of summary of information management technology and application technology of relay protection, and according to the need of professional management of relay protecting, the necessary and feasibility of setting up the information management system of relay protection in Inner Mongolia Grid is described in this paper. Combining with the requirements of information management system of power relay protection, the practical information management system of relay protection is researched and developed, the mainly function and composition is designed.This system realizes the sharing of relay protection system in local area network and the whole process management of fault report and the related date. The buildings of the system, on one hand, ensure the accuracy and timeliness fault information of relay protection, and recover the normal operation of system in time; on the other hand, can effectively reduce the workload of staff at all levels of the protection, and strengthen the analysis capabilities of protection staffs to deal with the fault, so as to provide the necessary technical support to the security and stability operation of the grid.
