The Research And Application Of Relay Protection And Fault Information Subsystem

With the development of the substations automation technology and the widely used of microcomputer protection, the functions and performances of the network automation system are now greatly improved. Substations automation achieves a higher level. Because the communication protocol of microcomputer protection device, substations automation system and fault recorder is not unified. This makes a large number of information generated by microcomputer protection device and fault recorder lack unified effective management. The relay protection and fault information system level appears relatively lags behind.This paper mainly aims at some difficulties, such as the incongruence of data communications protocol, the difference of physical interface and the difficulty of commissioning maintenance. Studies the research significance of the relay protection and fault information subsystem. Describes the subsystem definition and basic functions. Then puts forward the subsystem design from the system of modular design, architecture design and the choice of platform. After the analysis of the subsystem design, the paper discusses the hardware and software application in longwan substation.
