Power system relay and fault information management system is for the purpose of realizing the equipment management, the running status surveillance,the movement fix-value calibration to the second equipments of the power system,and comprehensive analysis abnormal or fault information grid recorded in the second equipments.It improves the overall level of dispatching system informatization,intelligence,makes the second equipments operation, management of each link "controlled, can control, in control" and realizes the relay protection professional management modernization, overall ascension grid dispatching operation management level.At present,500kV power grid has become a main grid in ShanDong, and takes delivery of Shandong major electricity load.When shandong 500kV power grid after failure, the fast and accurate fault analysis and fault location data can greatly reduce fault processing time.It's able to save manpower and resources, and reduce losses due to failure.According to the status of 500kV power grid in Shandong, this article has studied power system relay and fault information management system in depth,and proposed a new design scheme.This scheme can realize distributed heterogeneous system of interconnected, Shared, and support various application expansion, support system free maintenance, compatible automation system technology development, and can achieve the dispatching information "longitudinal sharing, horizontal exchange" requirements.First of all, according to State Grid Corporation of power system relay and fault information management system requirements and the actual situation of Shandong 500kV power grid,this article analyzes the overall system design requirements, design objectives, design basis and key design index in depth,and then produces a design idea and a technology scheme of power system relay and fault information management system,does an in-depth elaboration on hardware and software design architecture,and does a detailed analysis in the system of various functions,the main technical performance indicators and other aspects.The proposed system design scheme in Extrahigh Power Subcompany of SEPCO 500kV substation has been successfully applied. The system has fully achieve the design goals to meet the site requirements and made significant benefits.
