Energy is the important foundation of economy and social development. Energy utilization efficiency is the one of the important mark of the social management level and economic development. While energy conservation and emission reduction is an utilization important measure for improving energy utilization efficiency. It is dry hot in summer and wet cold in winter in the Yangtze River region, and also the indoor thermal environment is poor. Some?effective measures must be taken for the sake of comfortable thermal environment in residential building from the angle of thermal comfort. Because the construction speed of residential building is quick, the proportion of energy consumption for building will be bigger. Some measures must be taken to reduce the energy consumption of building and the dependence on artificial cold and heat source from the angle of the energy saving of building.≤The hot summer and cold winter area residential building energy-saving design standards≥(JGJ134-2001) puts forward the goal of energy-saving by 50%, retaining structure account for 25%. By 2010, the third step energy-saving design standards energy-saving by 65% will be implemented. Due to the particularity of the climate in Yangtze River region, palisade structure must satisfy the dual requirement of "insulation in winter, heat insulation in summer ".The thesis summed up the energy requirements of residential building palisade structure parts and layout, the window than, shape coefficients and orientations In the Yangtze River.Two small contrast rooms were established in Chongqing, and winter and summer comparative experiments was conducted in the two rooms. And the two small rooms were simulated separately for energy in winter and summer by use of Visual DOE-4 energy consumption simulation software. Experiment energy-saving rate and simulation energy-saving rate for energy-saving room were compared and analyzed to prove the correctness and reliability of simulation results for the Visual DOE-4. And palisade structure and indoor temperature for the two small rooms is analyzed comparatively. And it reached a conclusion that the effect to improve indoor thermal comfort and reduce building energy consumption is significantly for external insulation system and the hollow glass. It verifies the good thermal performance of exterior insulation system and the hollow glass.Residential in seven representative cities of the eastern, central and western in Yangtze River were select as research object, and a six-story residential building model was establish. the parameters such as air change n, window-wall ratio and the coefficient of size is kept setting value, but residential buildings with different heat transfer coefficient of palisade structure were energy simulated without the heat exchanger. The influence of heat transfer coefficient K on building energy consumption is obtained in this case, and thickness of the insulation is considered to demonstrate the corresponding reasonable heat transfer coefficient in this case.
