| Background monitoring system of substation automation system generally have the system setting module, data coding module, graphics editing module, local control module, recalling accidents module, viewing network module, computer proof and operation order modules, communication modules etc. Graphics editing module is used to draw all kinds of graphics that are needed in Substation monitoring system, associate corresponding data with graphics components, is essential to a monitoring system.Graphical interface is a human-computer interaction interface of substation automation system, plays an important role in the system. Engineers understand the operating of the substations, operate substation equipment through the mouse and keyboard to control the operating of substations. Friendly graphical interface system is very important to background monitoring system of substation automation systemIn this paper, the graphics software has a very friendly interface. Software provides a lot of graphics in power system components used to draw various graphics; allows a part of graphics defined as a block that can be copied, deleted, blocks greatly facilitate the drawing graphics; provides a dialog box for each kind of components, you can easily view and edit the properties of components; step less zoom in any case has not distortion, sharp graphics for easy editing.In this paper, the graphics software is edited in Visual Studio 2005 environment, uses the C# language. This paper introduces in detail the graphics components class, using API functions in order to hide the task bar and make the form full-screen displaying, the communication between forms under C#, visiting the SQL Sever database, double-buffer displaying technology, translation and step less zoom of graphics.
