With the development of modern science and technology, computer technologyhas led automation technology to a higher level because of its accuracy, sensitivity, andhigh speed etc. widely used in a variety of fields. Meanwhile, computer is alsobecoming more and more popular used in power system. Due to the sensitive,reliable,convenient, fast and low power consumption, and many other advantages, thecomputer integrated automation technology is more and more applied in changeddistribution station.This paper mainly studies on abolishing the old type of measure, protection,control and monitoring methods, thereby, using the computer monitoring andcontroling system of the changed distribution power station to reform the secondequipment of the changed power distribution station and improve the management andthe technology of monitoring and controling. As a result, the computer integratedautomation power station comes true finally, promoting the station in more security,stability and reliable operation. The number of people on duty is reduced, andeventually realize the unattended.Firstly, this paper introduced the necessity of replacing the conventionalsecondary equipment by computer integrated automation. Secondly, this paperdescribed the reformation technology and schemes in detail. Based on the functionalrequirement of integrated automation system and software&hardware structure,introduced and analyzed the key technology during developing configuration softwarein detail. In order to realize the function of the monitoring configuration software usedin converting station, designed and programmed for particular cases. Duringprogramming,paid attention to the object-oriented development concept. Usingobject-oriented programming method, makes the programming is universal andmodular in high level, and also makes it be able to use the software publicly. Finally,this paper made a conclusion on the short of its research and listed its points on thefocus of further research hoping to discuss and research more deeply.
