Roots blowers are widely used in many industries because of its simple structure, easy operation, steady air-supply, besides, its media cannot be contaminated easily. However, in the use of blower, the noise problem is very prominent, not only causes pollution, but also endangers the worker`s health, which is an important factor restricting its use and affecting the market competitiveness. This paper collects and analyzes the noise signal of running roots blower in the factory, studies the hazards of noise caused by vibration, and supports the theory on control noise of blowers. What`s more, in this paper, some safety evaluation work on the work environment of test workshop has been done, and a series of improvement measures to decrease the harm has been proposed.In the process of equipment testing, sometimes because of the limited test environment, the measuring tool cannot be contacted with the measured object directly, then the non-contact detection should be used, to detect signal of noise. In reference to the"The noise test point is defined in reference to blower and roots blower (GB/T2888-2008)" and the blowers model we definite the test point in the program. Using the DASP-V10 data acquisition and signal collecting system which developed by Beijing Orient Institute of Noise & Vibration, makes a research with Self-spectrum analysis, Octave analysis, Autocorrelation analysis and Cross-correlation analysis of roots blower noise signal, as the result showing, the dominated noise sources are aerodynamic noise and mechanical noise, and the mechanical noise is caused by the hell of blowers'vibration in the vertical direction.In this paper, the effect of blower vibration noise on personnel, security of production and equipment is analyzed; the blowers noise is assessed by loudness level, equivalent continuous A levels, annoyance level of human ear to noise, and the feeling of human ear after wearing the anti-noise goods; and the effect of blowers intensity of vibration on human body is analyzed..With applying the idea of formal safety assessment to the safety appraisal of blowers test workshop, the workshop safety index system is built according to the theory of"human, machine, environment, management", weight coefficient of influencing factor is determined by using analytic hierarchy process, and the risk assessment of blowers test workshop with is conducted the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Effective improvements based on the evaluation results and the workshop actual situations have been proposed.
