With lots of virtues like simple and solid structure, low cost, good fault-tolerance, high reliability and efficiency, and flexible controlling strategies, etc, switched reluctance motor(SRM) can easily realize the energies'duplex-flow, namely it can realize dual function of both starter and generator so the study in the switched reluctance starter and generator becomes more and more. In order to improve power capacity, fault tolerance and reliability, the motor windings can be divided into two parts, forming two 6/4 structure of the motor, and were supported by independent power converter and controller, which constitute two-channel switched reluctance starter/generator system. And because the winding of the two channels in the SR starter/generator system wound on the same stator core, between the two channels there is a strong electromagnetic coupling. In this paper, 12/8 structure of SR dual-channel starter/generator system as the main object of study, analysis of the interaction between the two channels, and then determine a parallel flow control strategy in the corresponding output.This paper introduces the system components, research status, working principle and control methods of SR starter/generator system firstly, and introduces the Dual-channel SR starter/generator system.Second, it analysis inductance and the Stator mutual inductance between the changes of polar of the 12/8 structure of the dual-channel SR starter/generator system, and in the control program, research on the trend of interaction between the two channels which was verified by simulationThen it introduces the flow control methods in the parallel output, compares the advantages and disadvantages of each method.On the basis of theoretical analysis, combined with the above characteristics of the dual-channel SR starter/generator system, puts forward appropriate flow control strategy. And based on the CAN bus, design the hardware and software of the flow control methods.Finally, this paper builds the DSP + CPLD hardware and software platform of the dual-channel switched reluctance starter/generator and debugs the process of control software. In the experiment platform, verify the simulation results and the flow control method, and the results show that the proposed flow control methods are correct and feasible.
