With the technique development of MEA and AEA, and the recognition of 270V aeronautic high voltage direct current power system, the one of the aeronautic starter/generator power schemes, switched reluctance (SR) starter/generator system attracts more attention. Because both the controller and the power inverter are relative weak parts in SR system, the machine of two channel SR starter/generator system is divided into two parts that controlled by individual controller and power inverter respectively. As coils of two channels are winded in same core, two channels couple with each other. For 12/8 structure of two channel switched reluctance generator (SRG), this article analyses the interaction between two channels of the system and presents the scheme of improving performance.Firstly, the self-induction of stator pole and the mutual induction between any stator poles, the interaction between stator poles working synchronously and asynchronously are analyzed.Secondly, this article analyses the interaction between two channels under several different control strategies. The conclusion is validated through simulation calculation.Base on analysis of the mathematical model of 12/8 structure of the SRG, the method to improve the performance is presented and analyzed. The method modifying polarity of some poles can decouple two channels completely. The method modifying order of two channels can improve performance working under the single channel modal.Lastly, the designs of the hardware and software of the SRG based on DSP 2812 EVM are introduced. The results of experiment verified that the designs of the hardware and software are feasible.
