Aiming at the uncertain factors in the early product design, the co-evolution method between requirement planning and solution solving has been proposed.Firstly, after analyzing the definition and description of requirement, the requirement process model is established; According to the knowledge basis of function definition, the product function model is acquired by using the method of function definition; After comprehensively understanding the function model, the structure scheme satisfied the function model is obtained by searching the realization principle; Based on the results of structure scheme evaluation, the process of co-evolution between requirement planning and solution solving is determined.Secondly, the corresponding solving model is established in a formal symbolic expression. The logic process of the co-evolution is elaborated, and the layer by layer co-evolution framework based on the proposed method is set up.Finally, taking the automatic power door as a design case study, the application steps of the proposed method is elaborated in detail; According to the principle of the co-evolution between requirement planning and solution solving method, by using SQL Server 2000 database system and Visual Basic.NET, a software system of Computer-Aided Innovation Design is developed. Using the case study to describe the operating procedure of the system, the proposed method and the software system are verified.
