The paper proceeds from innovative design and manufacture of mechanical products,integrates VE with TRIZ, and develops Software System of Computer-Aided MechanicalProducts Innovative Design based on VE&TRIZ, which conduct mechanical productsinnovative design both in theory and practice.The paper analyzes the conception of computer-aided innovation, summarizes theresearch process at first and achieves overall application of computer technology, TRIZand VE. The paper introduces VE and puts forward the models of recognizing the objectof mechanical products innovative design based on VE. The paper analyses elementarytheory of TRIZ, introduces contradiction matrix & method of contradiction analysis, andbrings forwards reasoning dialectic model of innovative design based on TRIZ, whichenhance effectiveness of TRIZ in mechanical products innovative design.On the ground, utilizing Visual Basic and Access Database, etc., the paper developsSoftware System of Computer-Aided Mechanical Products Innovative Design based onVE&TRIZ, and integrates innovative design objects selecting models and those ofreasoning dialectic into software system. Then, the paper introduces the model structuresand operation methods of the software system, finishes the transfer from beginning to thefinal scheme of products innovation. Besides, this paper takes jack of coal excavator andlighting pole as examples to testify the function of the software system, which has beenproved to be used widely practically, and supports innovative design and manufacturingof products.
