Solar energy is a kind of green energy,and it will be never used up. It is a long-standing consensus that the use of natural lighting in building can save lighting energy consumption. In addition, natural lighting is playing an active part in user's physiology and psychology, for example: slowing nerve, improving work efficiency etc. Follows that natural lighting is so important, but in the construction industry of China, the advantage of natural lighting is not getting enough attention, and special lighting design in architecture design process is very lack, influenced both indoor daylighting comfort and building energy conservation. Not only it is beneficial to the health of human body and mind,but also can saving energy consumption,that Improving the lighting design attention and making full use of natural lighting for building space . In recent years, due to energy environment problem increasingly, architects pay more attention to lighting environment design in reducing energy consumption. How to guarantee good indoor environment premise, as far as possible to reduce energy consumption, has become an important topic.Taking the industrial workshop in Chongqing area as the research objects, and based on the lighting design practice of a workshop in Chongqing and the problems of skylighting fund in chongqing area, take systematic study of the natural lighting design and energy conservation of the Industrial workshops. Using the appropriate simplify sky model and taking the numerical simulation calculation,the main natural lighting characteristic parameters for building,such as the Ac/Ad, the skylight arrangement,the skylight form, the skylight transmittance etc,are fully analyzed in this paper. Meanwhile, the main characteristic parameters for Lighting energy consumption,such as the chooses of the light sources and lamps, the powerdensity, the lighting control mode, the sunshade coefficient etc, are fully analyzed,then get the affect relations for the influence factors to indoor daylighting quality and Building energy consumption. Finally, putting forward a skylight daylighting design strategy for industrial workshop in Chongqing area.Meanwhile, the results of this study could be useful for the lighting design of the industrial buildings in other areas.
