In recent years, several times of earthquake brings to the severe building damage. It is due to the intensity of the earthquake damage to prompt architectural design research units all of the word to seek good design methods and ideas; To increase the seismic performance of structures. In order to make the building structure with good economy has excellent seismic performance, at the same time to be able to better protect people’s life safety, national research institutions have struggled to find and satisfy the structure calculation method of structure safety and economic benefits. The research, methods of structural seismic design theory is the development of the researchers further recognition of engineering seismic process, is continuously summarize the experiences of all previous earthquake and efforts to reduce the process of earthquake disasters. In the process of seismic theory research, Pushover theory plays an important role that cannot be ignored.The idea is that this paper based on the theory of elastic-plastic analysis, Pushover method for tools, to frame shear structure as the research object, starting from the structure of the actual example, trying to solve the Pushover analysis method in reaction in the frame-shear wall structure analysis of some problems. First of all, according to the development of this method and research status at home and abroad made a more detailed discussion. Has carried on the comprehensive analysis to the method, the synthesis demonstrates its superiority and a variety of shortage, and the several ways of different static elastoplastic analysis method are analyzed and compared. By18layer structure model is established, the model of linear time history of dynamic analysis, relay for elastoplastic dynamic and static analysis using the EPDA&PUSH program, by comparing the analysis results, the difference between Pushover method of deficiencies and defects. On the same structure model using different forms of load calculation, comparing the difference between the various results, it sums up the different forms of lateral load on the result of calculation. And then set up three different height is calculated respectively, and the structural model analysis data as a result, the influence of building height of Pushover analysis.Finally analyzes the result of the full text data, has carried on the comprehensive summary of Pushover method, aiming at a series of problems existing in the research made a bold prediction, and the method to do a detailed outlook of the further study.
