The T5fluorescent lamp is the most energy-efficient light source till now, and will be one of the main source of illumination for a long time. Electronic ballast, as the core of T5fluorescent lamp lighting system, its reliability directly influence if the lamp can work normally. Therefore, using reliability engineering theory to comprehensively analyze its reliability has important research value and significance.Firstly, introduces the basic elements of the electronic ballast reliability analysis, descriptive index and conventional analysis method. Discusses the common features in reliability engineering, the main content of reliability research, and mainly introduce the electronic circuit reliability design method and the reliability life quantitative evaluation method.Secondly, according to the PPFC self-oscillating electronic ballast principle diagram, introduces each function block of the typical circuit and work principle. Then according to the PPFC self-oscillating electronic ballasts based theory to determine the T528w electronic ballast concrete principle diagram, and introduces the main characteritics of the circuit. Finally, T528w electronic ballast requirements of its habitat requirements of reliability is put forward.Thirdly, The adoption of the reliability analysis method DFMEA find weak link of T528w electronic ballast, analyze the reliability of key components of design, and using the Taguchi design method to determine the effect of electric parameter of product the best combination.Fourth, introduction to life test mathematical model, according to the mathematical model of T528w life test, data analysis, obtains the life calculation results. Finally, this thesis summarizes the research content of the full text, and points out some existing problems and future work directions.
