Research On The Application Of Graphic Language In Interior Interface Design

At present, most researches about indoor interface design mainly focus on materials and construction technology, however, the researches on how to organize graphic elements of interface are extremely rare, which has led to the misuse of forms and methods and the lack of cultural connotation.The author, firstly, captured and summarized the graphic of indoor interface from the perspective of linguistic semiotics. Moreover, author in-depth analyzed the graphic language of indoor interface, based on a large number of excellent case studies and theories, for example, Gestalt Psychology, environmental psychology, composition rules, formal rules, and so on.Then author classified the graphic elements of interface and also introduced some application rules and methods which, based on space and materials, combining the pursuit of function with that of spirit and following the composition rules and formal rules, implied the true meaning of semiology.Lastly, author combined theory with practice to analyze the current situation and problems of interface design of restaurants, in addition, introduced the importance of graphic language in the interface design of restaurants and put an example of "Zhen Weidao" Restaurant to prove that view.The author hopes that researches will promote the development of indoor interface design and provide more new ideas for that. In this way, we can avoid the visual pollution, the decrease of comfort level of users and the lack of space culture caused by the blindness towards graphic elements in interface design.
