The world within the scope of the pressure on resources and the environment, to make electric vehicle not only in the Chinese, has huge development potential in the world scope, the electric vehicle in twenty-first Century has become an important direction of development of automobile industry.which are researched mainly focus on improving power system of motormproving the driver motor efficiency of the power system, improving the performance of car battery and other ways. The performance of the car tests need to be performed through various test; since the performance of car is reflected through the data, so the data collection for the test is very important, but also must control the testing object, to form a control system.Therefore, it has great significance to develop a specific electric vehicle power measurement and control system.This paper has analyzed the structure of the power system of pure electric vehicle, measurement and control object and developed the overall program of measurement and control system. Hardware design for the measurement and control system has been completed, including the hardware design of charging pile unit,battery unit, drive motor unit and dynamometer unit. The measurement and control system has functions of real-time monitoring, key components control and fault alarms.In this paper, software design including the software design of battery unit for the measurement and control system has been completed, using standard Modbus protocol to achieve the communication between power sensor, Siemens S7-200224 XP PLC and IPC operating unit, and battery parameter real-time monitoring screen has been designed; completed the control software design of battery charging and discharging process; use HC3 high-speed counter of Siemens S7-200 224 XP PLC to monitor the motor speed value, and made detailed introduction to its monitoring process; introduced the software design of charging pile, using standard Modbus protocol to achieve the communication between HMI and Siemens HMI S7-200226 CN PLC, IPC operating unit and HMI; designed HMI and charging pile parameter real-time monitoring screen of IPC operating unit, and completed the control software design for the charging pile in the charging process.Based on these studies, This paper developed a complete set of pure electricvehicle power measurement and control system.we used the developed measurement and control system to perform measurement and control verification. We have done different charging and discharging methods test on the battery to research the charge and discharge characteristics of the battery. We have completed no-load test and load test for the drive motor to research the performance of the drive motor. Tests show that the test and control system has been realized the relevant measurement and control functions.
