Research On Cost Management Of Construction Project

Project cost management is one of the core content for project management. It is an important way for enterprises to maximize profits and enhance core competitiveness. At present, our country has comprehensively promote project management measures in the engineering field, but the project cost management philosophy has not received enough attention. Fishing port construction projects belong to the public welfare, it is basically a national investment-based. Compared to other industries, there is not enough emphasis on fishing port project cost management. Other problem remains: methods drop behind, low capital efficiency etc. As a result, it is very necessary and urgent to timely research fishing port project cost management, absorbing foreign advanced management theory and methods, and applied to the actual fishing port project to improve the management of the project.In this paper, theoretical analysis and case studies take a combination of methods, based on the literature review, data collection and fully abreast of the latest research results, aims to get real value on the existing theoretical research on cost management. Using Lusi central fishing port project as an example, through field research and interviews with the project-related personnel, analysis the project cost management status and main problems of fishing port project from the project approval to completion, guided by the theory in the whole process of project cost management, suggest improvements measures for Lusi fishing port engineering project cost management, including: build and improve a system for the whole process of the project cost management; Establish a cost management system with standardized and unified combination of rights and responsibilities standard; improve the accuracy on project cost estimates and the establishment of information systems on project cost management. Provide a reference for other fishing port project cost management programs.
