Hunan province sixth engineering co., LTD., as a state-owned super construction enterprises, contracted for decades in many influential engineering both at home and abroad. But in the last five or six years, with deterioration of operating environment, and the competition GDP increased year by year, profits are declining, the more losses in some projects, business gradually get into trouble. To get rid of the status quo, accelerate the development of enterprises, the company put forward to make money is the hard truth, and the project management as the focus of enterprise cost management center, so to strengthen the project cost management has become the priority of the company.This paper in the process of research, is sixth engineering co., LTD in hunan province as an example, on the construction project cost management in the process of argumentation and analysis, through the way science is also on the nature of project management theory are discussed. Through discussion, the paper analyzes the meaning and structure of construction company project cost, analyzes the construction project cost management goal and the main influence factors, on construction project cost management, economics and management analysis had summarized six company project cost management status, and its currently in the process of project cost management, the problems and the cause of these problems are expounded. Finally, in the process of study, with TMP construction project for concrete examples for the validation of the model. Through the study of this article, based on six TMP company project cost management to solve four problems: 1) solve the cost management of the imperfection of the object clutter and cost control process, make each department in the project management, the tacit understanding between each other to cooperate, scientific and effective project cost management. 2) improving the ideological understanding, the project management to improve the phenomenon of lack of consciousness of cost management level, improve the cost management didn’t show host status of the phenomenon. 3) to strengthen the internal and external environmental analysis, the effective cost planning. 4) improve the level of cost management and control, in the process of construction cost management in a reasonable way for cost management, have the effect of cost management. Attaches great importance to the technical measures the impact on the cost, according to the overall program for the selection of reasonable construction technology, through the optimization of construction scheme to carry out the construction work, thus reducing the construction cost.Six companies for the current project cost management problems existing in the analysis and sum-up, and combined with the current popular mode of cost management and the future trend of the development of cost management, and draws six companies of construction project cost management improvement plan, the project cost improvement program for six company project cost management, and provides a good role in promoting the development of our company.
