Automobile industry, the pillar industry in our country, is developing rapidly. All automobile manufacturers are competing urgently to use all kinds of new technology to improve automobiles competitive advantage, light weighting is one of the technologies. On the basis of guarantee the whole vehicle performance, complete the weight loss of every parts and components, to achieve the purpose of save materials and cost. Trends in automotive lightweight promote the use of engineering plastics, engineering plastics due to its own characteristics, to replace metal parts in the cars from the beginning of the decorative parts to the current features. The development of engineering plastics makes the design of the plastic products processing more and more standard and the molding development more and more practical value.Take the automotive engine turbocharger plastic intake pipe as an example, this thesis analyzed the characteristics of products, through a variety of molding equipment and process to make the development plan. And then use the theoretical and experimental analysis to optimize it.Firstly, through the basic research on the fluid dynamics, provides the theory basis for pipe designing, blow molding and injection molding simulations.Secondly, according to the general principles of the plastic parts, the design of the pipe has completed. Through its appearance size, determine the main development plan which includes the main equipment, designing and developing the corresponding blow and injection mold and cutting and welding equipment.Thirdly, the simplified model is designed according to the initial appearance, respectively using Moldflow and POLYFLOW software for numerical simulation of injection molding and blow molding, ANSYS Workbench is used for welding and assembly parts for stress analysis. According to the results, optimize the design of the pipe and guidance to repair the mold, improve production efficiency and the reliability of the product.Fourthly, according to the actual production of the turbocharger intake pipe, the related experiment is carried out to verify the eligibility of the product. Orthogonal experiment is designed to analyze the main 3D suction type blow molding process, which is about the three factors:the vacuum time, blow pressure and the time of blow pressure on the influence of the product wall thickness, the results are used to guide the production process.This thesis is to designing, analysis, manufacturing, process, experiment together to research the development of the entire automobile turbocharger intake pipe forming, has high practical value and economic benefits. The whole development can be used to guide the production process, accelerate the molding cycle, and provide theoretical basis and technical guidance for automobile lightweight.
