| With more and more electric power into our lives,wire and cable protection problems,especially the insulation and sealing at the branch of wire and cable,have received more and more attention.Without credible insulation and sealing method,in the open air,high pressure or humid environment,it’s easy for water to seep into wire and cable,or the protective methods are ineffective due to foreign body.It will lead to short circuit or leakage in power system,which causes seriously affects the safety of circuit operation and causes potential safety hazard.Generally,for the protection of wire interface,insulating materials,such as insulating tape,are used to wrap the wire interface to provide insulation and sealing protection.However,due to the performance of the material,the insulation effect is not ideal.It is inconvenient and time-consuming to wrap the wire interface.Due to the mechanical loss caused by long-term use,the insulating materials may crack and fall off.It will lead to short circuit or leakage in power system,which brings greater security risks.In recent years,heat shrinkable tubing have been used to protect wire and cable interfaces.Because the appearance time of heat shrinkable tubing is short,it is necessary to further improve the injection molding process and injection mold of heat shrinkable tubing,so as to improve the product quality and performance of heat shrinkable tubing.Therefore,this paper takes the heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts as the research object.By studying the structural characteristics and material properties of the heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts,the injection molding process was determined.Numerical simulation is used to determine the gate scheme.Injection mold is designed.The process parameters of injection molding is determined by orthogonal test.Firstly,the structural characteristics of the heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts were studied.Then the polyolefin materials used in the heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts were analyzed,and the material ratio was determined to improve the performance of the heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts.The injection molding process of heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts was analyzed.Four kinds of gate schemes(different location,different number)were simulated and analyzed by Moldflow software to determine the gate position.The gating system was established,and the numerical simulation of injection molding was carried out,and the simulation results were analyzed.According to the gate position and heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts,the injection mold was designed and checked.According to the simulation results,the warpage was selected as the index,and the Moldflow software and orthogonal test method were used to find a group of injection molding process parameters with the minimum warpage.The simulation was carried out by using the parameters obtained by orthogonal test,and the reason of the error was analyzed by comparing the simulation results with the actual products.In this paper,through the research and analysis of the injection molding process and injection mold of the heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts,the product quality and performance of the heat shrinkable 3-core breakouts is improved,which provides a reference for the research and design of similar products. |
