In recent years, with the continued growth of space shuttle mission, there is a increasing demand of the spacecraft structure plate products. The factory is faced with the contradiction between growth and the current production capacity. Especially in the aerospace industry development under the new situation, long product development cycle, high cost, poor batch production fast conversion capacity, all these problems have become increasingly prominent. The whole scheduling of resources, personnel arrangement and equipment layout are very insufficient, it is unable to accurately assess the production line of bottleneck workstation and production capacity. In view of the above problems, the article has deeply studied the domestic and foreign research status. The optimization method of production line is put forward based on the modeling and simulation technology. The result is veried by adjusting the operating time and increasing the personnel.In the research stage, the whole production process was combed, the production task, product composition and structure of plate production line was investigated. ECRS method was used to simplified the process to 12 steps, as a basis of modeling and simulation process. The workmeasurement was used to determine the data of production factors. the author presents a set of multi variety and small batch characteristics of plate production line data structure, as a simulation model of the initial data.In the stage of modeling simulation, this paper presents the object-oriented modeling method, in this way, the actual production system is established in the simulation software. based on the data of production factors, e M-plant simulation software was used to create the model of the production line, model element association and model operation rules are determined according to the simplified process. After this, single plate output time was selected to compare to the actual production time. With this method, we checked the rationality. In the model validation based on reasonable, we took the simulation of the model and Analysis of the production line balance rate, bottleneck, personnel and equipment arrangement, equipment utilization rate etc.In the optimization stage, this paper proposes three optimization schemes according to the actual production situation. The Production capacity reached the expected target by changing the operating time and Personnel allocation, the production capacity is predicted scientifically.
