Assembly is one of the most representative parts of manufacturing industry.In order to reduce costs and improve production capacity,many companies have set up a reduced efficiency team.Combined with one project,the production line of automobile panel production line was improved.The paper mainly includes: production line status investigation and analysis,production line balance improvement,layout planning,design of material management,Flexsim visual system simulation and some other related work.(1)The analysis of assembly line.Be familiar with assembly line basic situation and panel product structure by assembly line overview.Through the detailed analysis of the assembly line layout,balance rate,per capita capacity and material management,to analyze the problems of the assembly line and the causes of the problem and specify the direction for the assembly line improvement.(2)The overall scheme design of assembly line.The overall improvement scheme for the problem of the automobile panel assembly line was designed.It mainly involves two aspects: assembly line balancing and logistics.In the design of assembly line balancing scheme,firstly,set up the improved target,and then design and compare from the point of the bottleneck station transfer,station merger and personnel reduction.In the design of assembly line logistics,it was mainly from the perspective of the distribution process,distribution mode and logistics layout.Then a new distribution process program to shorten the material distribution process was developed.Put forward the distribution scheme of material homogeneous sets,which avoided the abnormal stopping of material shortage.The method of producing balanced cabinet was introduced,which improved the work efficiency and reduced the buffer material stock.Finally,through the layout improvement program,the logistics path was optimized.(3)The improvement of assembly line balance.According to the characteristics of automobile panel assembly line,Through the process optimization and the work breakdown reorganization,For the balance and the station improvement,to evaluate the automobile panel assembly line.the assembly persons was reduced by 13 and the balance rate increased by 40.16%,assembly line capacity increased by 14.86% throughout optimizing the process,decomposing and recombining the task.They all achieved the goal of assembly line balance improvement program.(4)The improvement assembly line logistics.The material distribution process,distribution plan,layout and distribution path of the automobile panel assembly line were implemented.Improve the material flow plan from the limitation of picking mode.According to the problem of missing line,improve design the content of material classification,placement rules,delivery time,delivery volume,temporary storage area and so on.Always designed a new table a and material buffer position for the operators to solve the problem of the far moving distance.According to the improvement of layout,the distribution route of assembly line material was improved.(5)Research on production line logistics simulation.Based on Flexsim simulation software,the simulation model of automobile panel assembly line was built.The running state data were analyzed by simulation,and the problem of assembly line was pointed out.After refining,it could be divided into safety stock,Inter process cache and Material distribution utilization problems.And further improvements were made about determination of safety stock,adjust work order and uniform distribution.At the same time,the feasibility and the effectiveness of the improved scheme were verified.At last,summarized the full text,put forward the problems existing in the research,and gave the further research ideas.
