From "fire Pond" To "hall"

Traditional family formed thousands of years not only have long-term and stable substance living space, but also holds a mutual spiritual support of living space. This dual spatial structure is reflected in the traditional "fireplace", "hall" and other traditional space. Qualitative change in the life of modern society not only destroyed the order of the spatial structure of the material, but also the spatial structure of spiritual collapse. This paper reviews the history of the dual structure exists in traditional family life, as well as the structural missing resulting from the modernization. And analyze the reality of heart disorder, which caused by the lack of sound family structure and meaning of life. This article emphasizes one of the mission of modern design is through the innovative features and design innovations of these two space structures to provide more open future design development perspective and give some innovative ideas.
