The muzzle disturbance has an important influence on gun fire dispersion. Thus, the research on reducing the muzzle disturbance method has important significance to improve gun fire dispersion. Based on the 973 project, we establish the rigid flexible coupling multibody launching system dynamics model of a large-caliber towed artillery, and study the sensitivity analysis and Multi-objective optimization of artillery integrated structure parameter. The research of this paper has certain reference value to improve gun fire dispersion and the optimization of integrated structural parameters. Details are as follows:According to the gun’s structure composition and emission process, we simplify the gun to a rigid flexible coupling system which includes three flexible bodies (grounds barrel, cradle and shelves) and multiple rigid bodies (such as breech, muzzle brake, shelves and so on). The functions of bore force, recoil mechanism force, recuperator force, and balancing machine force were written by FORTRAN, the DLL was generated to embed in the multibody dynamics model of gun. The initial value of the muzzle disturbance was obtained by numerical calculation.Five different sensitivity analysis models were established by using ADAMS/INSIGHT to study the influence of artillery structural parameters (such as the mass of muzzle brake and breech, the position of front and rear bushing and the equivalent stiffness coefficient of chassis spring) on the muzzle disturbance. The parameters which have large influence on the muzzle disturbance were selected as the design variables. The result provides an effective method for sensitivity analysis of the structural parameters of the gun and makes a foundation for the optimal design.In this paper, we provide a research method for the determination of weighting coefficient by using the analytic hierarchy process and build the general objective function via normalization method. Based on the secondary development of the data structure and the underlying command of ADAMS, we achieve the optimization of muzzle disturbance by using niche genetic algorithm combined the ADAMS solver. After optimization, we can obtain the multi group optimization scheme, and select a set of optimization results to analyze. The result shows that the muzzle disturbance value was significantly lower than before through optimization, and it fully illustrates the feasibility of the method.
