Relying on the experience of designers, the process is complicated, and the design efficiency is low, which is the typical characteristic of the traditional mechanical design. Especially for similar products, the design and modeling of repeated design and modeling need to spend a lot of energy and time, which seriously affect the design efficiency of the product. As the key part of the reciprocating compressor, the mesh valve is widely used. However, the the similar and complex structure, make the design work becomes repetitive and tedious. Therefore, the traditional CAD system has been very difficult to meet the needs of design and product. Develop a special CAD system to realizing the rapid design of products, and this is the key to win the competition in the market.This paper takes the mesh valve as an example, using two development kit-Pro/TOOLKIT of the Pro/E. Combined with parametric design and database management technology. The design software of the parametric design based on Pro/E is successfully developed on the Pro/E platform.This software takes Visual Studio Microsoft 2008 as the development environment, the advanced database management technology and the Pro/E two development technology, realizes the software development. Using the technology of the combine for Pro/E and MATLAB to solve the mathematical model of valve motion law, we can get the image of valve motion.This software not only can automatically check the valve seat strength, but also can simulate the motion of the valve plate, so as to judge whether the design of the valve is qualified. Enterprise users can be intelligent design of the net valve valve components, realize the rapid design of mesh valve. It not only can improve the quality and efficiency of the product, shorten the development cycle, but also reduce the cost of production. This software has a good practical value.
