In view of the problem existed in Pro/ENGINEER software,which was not goodenough to finish the annotation of two-division engineering drawing and conformedthe national standards badly,the second development in two division annotation hadbeen proposed to make sure the customer could make the ann otation rapidly andaccurately.The topic took the advantage of the technology of VC++.Net andPro/ENGINEER second development tools Pro/Toolkit to finish the seconddevelopment customization of Geometric Tolerance through a dynamic-link libraryway in the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire4.0environment.At the same time,the paperreseached the key technology of menu development design and MFC dialog boxdevelopment design involved in the paper and developed an easy-to-use plugin oftolerance annotation according to the national standards.First of all, the relevant development function in Pro/TOOLKIT and relatedknowledge of computer have been researched comprehensively to establish afoundation for programming development.Then, the corresponding tolerance have been classified in order to realize thetwo-division annotation ways in GB.in the same time, the connection between the APIof Pro/ENGINEER software and MFC interface have been studied, overcoming thetechnical problem of second development by using C++language in thePro/ENGINEER4.0enviroment. Through analyzing the technology of the MFC ofMicrosoft Visual studio.net and menu/dialog box production,developing effectivemenu and the corresponding dialog box, which could been scheduled to call atPro/ENGINEER interface.thirdly, the MFC(Microsoft foundation classes) of Microsoft Visual Studio.nethad been well studied and the dialog box resources would been developed.Finally,a universal annotation system of the Tolerance which is simple andcoincide with national standard from engineering angle have been finished.
